I need it to handle deep snow (the kind that normal sedans can't), can take me to whatever hiking trails I want, can go through basic flooded roads, etc. Yes, I've had AWD sedans before and sports SUVs are just better at doing the things I like to do. |

The highlander is about being a safe, reliable family hauler for not too much money.
My point with that is that no one is having the GLC as the practical, sensible but boring car to be combined with a performance SUV. It fits better as the performance SUV. |
