Do I have that right?

Basically slores in their 20s go for sociopathic bad boys because of the perceived high social value they give them because they are so cool and make their friends jealous. Then when they realize these bad boys are either deadbeats or just too much to handle, and that there is no future with them, AKA, the slore turns 31 (not 30, because they get into denial at 30, and still cling on to the idea they can make their bad body into an unselfish provider), then they look for betas who are hard working, and likely suitable to be husband/responsible father material, but betas realize that these women are unmarriageable, but would still take advantage of their desperation and date them without intent to marry them. Is that what this whole MGTOW thing is, or is there more to it? I never head of alpha guys talk about MGTOW because they're already predisposed to GTOW.

Their main thing is that marriage is a losing proposition for most men financially and it's hard to argue on that point

It seems like the membership is split between incels and dudes who got burned and I sympathise with the latter but not the former

I feel like if you are incel, you're not really going your own way and should probably be on an incel forum and not bashing women constantly on MGTOW forums. They're frauds basically.

MGTOW is all about financials

one common saying in MGTOW forums is that divorced friends will only be friends for 5-10 years because that's how long they take to RECOVER FINANCIALLY enough to make it back to the plantation

It's also about the mindset of life. Average non-Chad guy is running head over heals to impress random chicks with middle interest in them or working hard to keep a wife happy who daydreams about Chad. MGTOW OTOH is doing what he wants in life chilling, chuckling to himself as his peers stress about making their GF angry or some BS like that.

If anything, MGTOWs are alphas since they pretty do the opposite of whatever the crowd is doing. Alphas create their own lane while betas follow the herd.
