Basically the whole season is just discrediting pretty much all the evidence against Steven, and separate team of lawyers arguing Brendan's confession was coerced and false.
idk what to believe but I don't think Steven is guilty brd. |

The corrupt county bros/cops had a ton of incentive to frame Avery but that isn't explored. Instead his new lawyer brings in experts to poke holes in the forensic evidence. The problem is that they do nothing to further the case that the cops planted evidence, they only poke holes in the Angles of Blood Droplets and shit. They talk about how the cops might've gotten a hold of some of his blood to plant but it's too vague. Just because some of the evidence looks weird or Avery's blood is at weird angles or his DNA in unlikely places doesn't mean shit.
They also explored the Lies and inconsistencies in some of the witnesses' testimonies, but it doesn't really lead anywhere. The bottom line is if cops plant evidence against you you are fucked imho, unless you can prove that it was planted.
The appeals process with the retarded kid (Brendan) is also followed, but the AG fights them HARD. They were relying on his low IQ (~80) as a defence RE: the interrogation, but think about it... if he were exonerated, it would set a crazy precedent for nig offenders to leverage their ruinous IQs in future defences/appeals. |

I guess she has had more success than I have in getting people off post-conviction, but she keeps saying with a straight face that Steven Avery had "ineffective counsel".
As far as I know, this is an impossibly high standard to meet, and Avery's counsel was so competent people were putting their faces on t-shirts. |
