In the prison grounds, Guile witnesses Ryu and Ken fighting Sagat's men, and recruits them to help him find Bison in exchange for their freedom, since Sagat is Bison's arms supplier. They are given a homing device and win Sagat's trust by staging a prison escape and faking Guile's death. However, reporter Chun-Li and her crew, former sumo wrestler E. Honda and boxer Balrog, who are also out for revenge against Sagat for ruining their careers, stumble across the plan, and over Guile's objections, attempt to assassinate the two warlords at a party. Ken and Ryu agreed to help Guile by pretending to befriend Sagat for the sole purpose of getting to Bison. Once they found Bison there was literally no longer any purpose for Ken & Ryu to "earn Bison's loyalties." They should've just let Balrog and E Honda go to town on Bison at that point. Fuck that, they should've joined in and killed Sagat right then and there too. I always hated the movie for ruining the franchise and characters. Van Damne was only in it for the money.
