Because we are no longer at the center of the world, we will begin to lose more grip on the reserve currency, and international financial institutions. This will hurt our standard of living and will force us to become an export nation again
Ethnic Demographics will change more slowly than people think. Even if Trump never passes some meaningful immigration reform, the US has become a much less attractive place to migrate to. Far less people will have kids, which will create a lopsided age distribution
Hard to say whst disruptive technologies will emerge and affect our society
Pensions, Healthcare and education will implode. Home ownership for first time buyers will be much more difficult and we will become a land of sers and lirds. Even existing homeowners can look forward to skyrocketing property taxes
The future is grim for America especially economically. |
