They believe all this relentless, endless, churning and striving will eventually lead them somewhere and so they follow that with a religious ferocity. They never take time to look back upon the societies that this creates. Their blind assumption that this pressure will push them somewhere beneficial to them is mistaken - pressure for pressure's sake only drives a society mad. But Korea will run masses of itself into sickness and the grave and all they will have to show for it are disposable music groups and Samsung phones and will need to ask themselves - was the body count worth it?
And they may say yes. Because as you view them as bugs - so too, they view themselves. |
