don't get me wrong, the alternative is no better. evolution is creepy and ruthless. but I don't understand how a Creator all of a sudden makes life this wonderful thing. it is still terrifying and absurd to be the sculpted creation of some omniscient entity, set on a lonely planet to act out some useless drama before it's time to retire to dust. From a Christian perspective, why would I WANT to be born into a world where I'm being pulled between forces of good and evil in some sadistic game of tug-of-war?
