I was rear-ended in a separate accident over 1.5 yrs ago, and didn't know who CSLG was then and didn't do anything with the case, didn't have any medical bills. It could have been a big money case at the time ($7K in prop damage) but CSLG told me that the ship sailed because I waited too long. But I wanted to try to get some kind of a settlement out of the accident before the 2 year SOL passed.
CSLG strategized with me and walked me thru how to play this to get some money out of the insurance company. He proofread a demand letter that I drafted, which demanded $10K. The adjuster came back with way less than that and wouldn't budge. CSLG told me what to say, and they still wouldn't move.
I told CSLG, and he said I'll send over a rep letter and get you the $10K. CSLG made sent over the rep letter, called the adjuster and threatened to file a lawsuit if she didn't fork over the 10K, and she agreed right away.

And Travelers refused to accept liability for the accident for 1-1/2 years. I had to waste hours writing two statements for my own insurance company so they had the facts in order to find me 0% liable (which they did), even though this was a clear case of liability that Travelers refused to accept liability for.
And then Travelers tried to nickel and dime me on my loss of use claim, and tried to say that it shouldn't have taken as long as it did to repair the car. I had to spend hours fighting with them just for a few hundred bucks on a loss of use claim because they're bullies and don't follow the law.
In sum, fuck Travelers, and fuck all insurance companies. Nobody feels sorry for them.

I was new to litigation and my boss who was this ALPHA Chad who smoked cigars in his office and wore $2k Johny Cochran suits for real like a horrendous shitlaw cliche and he just told me to settle it inside of 2 weeks. I had her physician send over her entire file. None of it had any treatment notes from this fall. Not one page of it was remotely relevant, but the whole thing was like War & Peace sized. My lil cuz was rear ended by a Mac truck a few months ago. There was significant damage to the car. She tore her rotator cuff and injured her back (disc are depleted). The current attorney isn't doing much. She seems to be on the backburner. |
