Only thing that really stings is my brother just had twin girls last year so I've only met my nieces a few times, but all things equal life in Uk/EU is much better for me. |

I wouldn't say I take it to write my stories as such--I just take my meds as prescribed, which generally allows me to function better than I would otherwise.
It's not that I have to get gakked up before writing; it's more that, if I'm properly medicated, I'm more likely to have the time orientation and attention span to actually do things I want or need to do, and not derp around my apartment in a string of unsatisfying low-level distractions.

I dont think there is a real solution for society/modernity sucking so much, which i think is the underlying problem with most peoples mental illness. Better diet, more exercise, more time in nature, meditation, close interpersonal relationships, etc. Some medications might help but really i think its more important to live a life closer to the one you should be living. |
