Find a handsome surgeon to refer your clients to who is good at depositions and testifying at trial. Do not pick some fat nerd with bad eye contact.

Every time you get your client to get an injection you make like $10k so get as many of those as possible. Basically an endless supply of money.

I only get clients treatment that is medically necessary. However, I only take cases where clients have high pain. As a result many end up getting medically necessary injections. It is true that those increase the value multiple times.

repost:

how do you get chiros that you've referred dozens of cases to to give estimates and testimony that the insurance companies will actually find credible enough to pay up. My IRL PI friends seem to have a lot harder time with this, and laugh at me when I ask them about using chiros instead of doctors. They even say that insurance companies know if they keep seeing the same doctors testifying/giving medical bills for the same lawyer, and will often refuse to settle or lowball, as they can use this to impeach their testimony at trial. I'd love to talk to masters at this stuff about this.

The defense uses the same witnesses and shit over and over too. You just have to call their bullshit. They'll also try to impeach your doctor for treating on a lien and claim he has an interest in the case, and you just spin that to show how poor and disadvantaged your client is that he doesn't have insurance and can't afford to pay out of pocket. I do try to avoid chiropractors though. Some jurors just think they're complete bullshit (probably true), and you can get your doctor to prescribe physical therapy instead which looks more legit, can run up a big bill, and can actually help the client heal.

Everyone in LA uses chiros. The juries don't give a shit.

I use chiros on most of my soft tissue cases.

Also, you can exclude that treatment was on a lien a lot of times.

My chiro friends adjust me all the time and I think it helps. The chiros who claims it cures disease though are insane.

second question - is being successful in PI cases basically about networking and having a good network of "referrals" - doctors and chiros who know how to cook the books in terms of their billing?

I have an ortho surgeon buddy who works for a "reputable" ortho group, got an offer from some older ortho solo who only does PI cases referred by lawyers. This guy makes millions a year, and my buddy admitted that he drums up the bills sky high to increase the value of the case so that it settles higher. He's also an expert at doing depositions for these cases, charges like $10k per depo or court appearance. I imagine having a connection like this doctor is vital to doing well on a PI case.

This is how medicine works in America. If a doctor has a rich patient who can afford anything or someone who will likely get all his bills paid because of a wreck, then that doctor's going to give that patient the best treatment available regardless of cost.

I don't let him watch TV or use tablets/phones. He's been able to speak in full sentences since 18 months. We skateboard, play guitar, read, play tag/hide and seek. It's 180.

Parents turn their kids into little zombies. I'm going to let him start watching movies/TV with us after 2 but very limited (family movie nights, music videos to dance to, etc).

I have emulators and plan on starting him with old school NES games first, then progress SNES->SEGA->PS1->N64->etc. Once he gets into the older games I'll let him use tablets. I also am going to start him taking programming and robotics classes at 6 or 7. A lot of camps around here have summer programs for elementary kids. I don't want him to be a tech retard either.
