Any town with pop > 50k has at least one "craft" brewery, usually more than one. We're to the point where most towns of 3k plus are sporting one. What is the GC angle here? Despite their best efforts, most of the beers taste exactly the same and all of the "Styles" are suspiciously similar.

Does GC control their sourcing? Like do they all buy their hops from some central GC clearing house? The Sysco of hops? It would be rich if it was some entity part of or affiliated with AB-InBev.

All of their equipment looks exactly the same, so maybe there is a GC angle to their tanks and brewery equipment? Certainly if they can their shit the angle there is that they are all slaves to the Ball Corp. I am guessing that there is an even more transparently GC and sinister angle like they are all outsourced as far as product planning, beers, ingredients, and probably many are actually brewed off site and just brought to the "brewpub" in kegs like a normal bar, except they can charge 3x more because you are sitting in an exposed brick+edison bulb+reclaimed wood setting and looking at a potemkin village brewing setup of a couple of non-functioning stainless steel tanks with hoses coming out of them

most of them are just rich kids starting up breweries as a way to fuck chicks and make a decent profit too

i know multiple dudes who started up "craft breweries" with daddy's money and they both are doing great

it seems like 2010-2012 would have been TCR time to start a "craft brewery." not out of the woods of the recession yet but far enough ahead of the trend to be first mover in a lot of markets and still claim to be "original" or not just the latest in a long line of identical places

yea that's when both of these guys started them up. i will admit to being initially skeptical, but they are both pretty solid successes
