But it assumes an ability to stay the course in the market indefinitely, which does not conform with IRL for most people. You can also get crushed by inflation or deflation as well as the fed increasingly manipulating the fuck out of the market. IMO most people are better off with a mix.
These Target date funds go too low in equities at the end but they are great up until then. |
