Somehow people keep forcememing it as an up-and-coming city. |

It's far from perfect, but I'd argue a solid value for people with families to consider.
Wife and I both being flown out next month as part of a "red carpet" effort to bring high end exec talent back to the city. As far as recruiting effort, can say it's first class so far. Not sure if any of the employers who we'll be meeting will have jobs we're interested in, but impressed that the city is doing (and spending $ on) this kind of outreach. |

So far wife and I received individual cards signed by the companies looking forward to meet us, a cheerful video welcoming us, and they did a pretty cool survey asking us what we like to do so that the 2nd 1/2 of the interview day is choose your own adventure and you go out and do some activities (I'm assuming things like cooking class, yoga, climbing walls,etc, but who knows).
It's a bullshit 'best places' ranking, but Fishers/Carmel is ALWAYS T5.
