Teams rights now are limited to 11.7 scholarships, so almost no one gets a full scholarship. MLB also seems eager to ditch a bunch of minor league teams, so maybe NCAA would become more of a true minor league.
Thought process here was that Springer, Verlander and Strasburg all went to non-power schools (UConn, ODU, SDSU). |
