Melbourne has a sorta-interesting old downtown area going the hipster route. The beaches and A1A are the same all down the coast. |

The main reason to do it would be cost of living and access to waterfront. If you boat, this is one of the cheapest places in the country to have a deep water dock with ocean access. |

The White Trash are the prole drifters from all over the US, mainly the ohio river valley and mid atlantic who have made there way to the space coast. they live in stucco houses in indistinguishable subdivisions with names like "Valencia" and "San Matero". They sell things over the phone - mortgages, time shares, diabetic supplies, pretty much whatever they can.
the rednecks descend first from reconstruction era homesteaders and then orange grove workers from the 1920s and on. they wear camo, display the confederate flag and hunt. they are similar to what you'd find in Valdosta, GA. some of these are good people, albeit dumb and a little racist.
the region has also long attracted outlaw bikers. some are white trash, many are rednecks. they are lawless and violent people. |
