Yes of course. Super transformative for me. I was sort of a lost soul until I heard their debut album and then everything changed in a flash instant. It gave me meaning and purpose and pretty much everything inbetween. There I was, in my '85 Toyota Corolla, windows down, broken a/c, shouting out their songs on my commute to the steel stamping factory, feeling actualized and alive. When I got home at night, it was the full kit--dressed like them, air guitaring through their corpus, playing out little vingettes of meeting them at street cafes in Paris and Prague--"oh, me? just a lowly fan; what a pleasure to meet you here in the 14th Arrondissement." They became my heart and my soul and I am who I am because of them. Just that much of me is in them, not more.
