Or rather, give me an example of a player you think should be last in right now.
I've long been a proponent of not voting in a player if one match makes or breaks that player's candidacy. So, for example, someone like Andy Roddick has the resume to survive a hypothetical loss in the 2003 USO final -- YE #1, 32 titles, 5 Masters, 5 Major Finals -- that's a very solid record. he was one of the best players in the world for a number of years. He also was tantalizing close to a 2nd major.
On the other hand, a player like Petr Korda is defined by his AO win. If he hypothetically loses that match, his resume is very light -- never ranked YE top 6, only 10 titles, and only twice past the QF at majors.
So let me throw out a couple names that might be solid "last in" Hall of Famers:
Andy Roddick
Yevgeny Kafelnikov
Lleyton Hewitt (this makes for a smaller hall obviously)
Stan Wawrinka
Patrick Rafter
