ive had hardwoods for 12 years.

actual stains? just use a damp rag.

It depends on how it is finished. If it is polyurethane, then basically it is plastic you are cleaning and it does not matter much, just don’t soak it with water, use damp mop at most. Murphy’s leaves a film and I don’t like it.

If you have an old floor with oil or varnish or something, then you need to be more careful.

BONA floor cleaner. Its the same company that makes like 90% of the floor sealers used. Its a little expensive though.
