how the fuck does that not necessarily lead to unprecedented waves of millions of illegals streaming across the border? how is it at all compatible with a 'worker-oriented' program? he wants to give these people healthcare too? walk me through this plzthx |

The major shift of the asylum spike is that the number of women and children has increased by 4x since 2012. So of the ~300k that applied for asylum at the southern border a tiny fraction, well under 5%, will actually be granted, and most are processed and out of the country in six months. Nearly half of those 290k or so rejects are women and children anyway.
The reality is that if we really want to stop the asylum spike we need to send special forces, CIA etc. to Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador to kill like 3-5 million gang members. |
