My daughter is the leader of her university’s south East Asian American group and she has been busy writing up a response for her whole community on how they can help as Asian Americans, that privilege lies not just in white America but also anyone else that is not a black American. That we all have responsibilities to play. I was not sure what was happening especially I don’t want to condone looting and violence and my daughter kept on telling me that this is how it’s going to be done because this is the only thing that works now to get attention for the system to respond.
