Pregnant wife and i got covid - 19. Recovering and taking questions (Verne)

Date: July 3rd, 2020 9:06 AM Author: Talented principal's office We both came down with similar symptoms last Saturday. Very sharp sinus pressure with associated headaches, fatigue and some achiness. Wife had 100.5 fever for 1 night. I never had a fever. Our 2 year old son had a 101.5 fever last Friday night and has been 100% fine and himself since.
Wife is 31 weeks pregnant and so her obgyn got us a phlebotomist to come to us. Results back in 3 hours, poz for covid19.
After 5 days, the only lingering symptoms are clogged ears and recurring sinus pressure. Wife will have to do daily O2 checks with the pulse oximeter during remainder of pregnancy and some extra ultrasounds.
All in all we’ve both been sicker than this 20 times before and have gone to work sicker than this in previous cold/flu seasons. We should prob just accept that we’ll all get this and get on our way to herd immunity. |
