Last frequented this board in 2006: What happened?

I've since done biglaw, small law, DOJ, and now doing something totally different. The board always had flamers. I recently saw it in the news and decided to check things out after 14 years of absence. What is interesting is how it now ceases to be about law school or legal careers. Very few posts on the subject. Also, back in my day, if posts went too far with being offensive, the user was banned. again -like my previous post ALREADY said- I acknowledge that SOME mod (or mods) applies a somewhat different standard at least SOMETIMES when it comes to your posting.
nevertheless MORE than enough of your shitty borderline spam content seems to make it through that, by my scorecard, calling it a "travesty" is quite the stretch compared to people losing their jobs, having people from their IRL contacted off bort, etc.
