After 1972 there were no American troops left in South VN. The South only fell after the Democrats won a huge majority in Congress in 1974, and then when the North invaded the South soon afterwards the Democrats in Congress refused to authorize air support, so the North (backed by the Soviet Union) rolled over the South during 1975. Then followed the concentration camps, mass killings, immiserization, etc of people in the South by the Communist North. The Democrats condemned the South. It’s a great crime that hardly anybody knows about anymore. |
