I think nationalist populism is the way, and think the GOP is the best way to get to it. Strong borders, worker protections, a strong safety net, pro family policies. Of all people Romney looks like the guy advancing actual policy on this front, so we'll see.
So what do you, personally, want a post-Trump GOP to look like? |

I'm not in any way denying that we have a serious problem with the medical system. Drugs aren't going anywhere either, and no one has a reasonable solution to them. The war on drugs was a huge failure. The ethnic conflict is in part driven by the massive immigration that was intentionally driven and encouraged by those same elites.
Note that the 1980s was generally a great decade for most. The 1990s was also fantastic. Things basically started coming apart in the 2000s because we got a series of awful leaders that destroyed this country. |

Fuck them, the number of residencies should be increased greatly. - Most visits to the doctor don't require an extensive base of knowledge to deal with and can be In many cases, even an RN can provide competent treatment. Barriers to entry should be reduced in these areas. - Pharmaceutical companies have little incentive to develop curative or groundbreaking treatments. Instead they make minor changes to existing drugs simply to provide the company with another 10 year period of patent exclusivity, a practice termed "evergreening." Patent law should be overhauled to incentivize groundbreaking treatments and limit evergreening - The government is the largest single purchaser of pharmaceuticals in the US, yet is prohibited from negotiating prices for drugs covered under Medicare Part D. This shit needs to change and the GOP puppets behind it should be guillotined.
- Nuclear weapons make the prospect of war between great powers suicidal. With war with China or Russia out of the question, the USA needs to stop spending $800 billion per year preparing to fight a war with Russia and China. The US military should protect US borders, US commerce, and US citizens abroad. We don't need any more wars in faraway places. We should increase the budget for R&D for things like lasers and railguns and reduce the budget by 75% for everything else. |

I live in one where it's the case and yea great it saves me a few thousand bucks a year but it's also absolute dogshit in terms of the wait times, quality, and options you end up having. health care costs a lot in this country because most are used to having high standards of care and would rather pay for it. that plus the growing underclass of shitpoors who just fuck off on the bill and drive up prices for everyone else.
normal people don't want "no-frills" care when it comes to themselves or their family. |
