There have been countless essays written about the bias of psychology and psychiatry and how every female that was seen for mental reasons or ended up in the psych unit in the 50s and 60s was diagnosed as "BPD", and how this was due to misogyny and the patriarchy and men not understanding women etc. In all of these writings, there is a tacit understaning that "BPD" is just how women are and that it thus shouldn't be considered a "disorder". And actually, I would argue that this is true. All women do have BPD or HPD to some degree, but its just a matter of severity whether or not she is diagnosed with an actual disorder. And these days, a huge number are actually UNDERDIAGNOSED due to feminism, misandry, and the matriarchy.
