Only poasting the bad ones.
He needs to reach out to students more and be more open to communication, he seemed to reject the idea of me going in for office hours or any of my attempts to communicate about any additional conceptual questions.
He rarely talked to students individually during class, only during the period for asking questions
Please curve my grade :D. And refer me to any study tips, as I have no idea how to study in this class or any other class for that matter.
I think that the professor has a good understanding of the topics but doesn't really teach it well. I had a hard time understanding a lot of the explanations and I found it embarrassing to ask questions when the professor made remarks such as "you guys should know this, it's easy".
Sometimes when you ask a question then the way he answers can come across slightly condescending.
At the beginning of the course, Lord High Everything Else didn't have a lot of patience for students who lacked some previous knowledge on the subject matter, but he became more tolerant towards the end of the semester. He also expects students to speak up when they're confused about a concept, not stopping unless interrupted: this is more of a different teaching style than an issue, but it would be nice to be reminded of that every now and then.

lol i used to love these
EDIT: Sounds like you havent yet concluded that most college kids are Fucking Idiots and you and your cohort are the exception. Accordingly, if you want to teach to college students at 70 percent of colleges, you gotta dumb it way the fuck down. They like teachers who let them fingerpaint.
And they don't read. Like, literally, ever. They don't know Anything. There is No baseline shared learning to work off of.

Lol like 5 or 6 times a day: “Look in the syllabus. It’s all there. I promise you. Just read it.” I used to say this so fucking much.
A girl I went to college w actually gives a quiz to her Florida college students on the content of the syllabus on the second day of class to try to solve this problem. And they still don’t read it.
At 70 percent of schools and certainly at 100 percent of schools I’d be qualified to teach in, undergrads are fucking drooling morons. Likeable, sure. But dumb as a rock.

it sounds really bad honestly.
I would find it hard to read the following one without cringing or getting reprimanded by the dean

there were tons of positive ones, just poasted the bad ones for lols.
here's a good comment:
The instructor always asked if there were any questions and always would attempt to help students to understand what was being taught. Every question was a good question to him.
the comments are all over the place, and usually contradict one another. too much hw, too little hw, too slow, too fast. can't win them all.
but students make up all sorts of things all the time. i may have said something like this, but if it did, it was honestly because the thing was easy. like 1+1=2 sort of easy. (actually I think the comment was referring to how to write the equation of a straight line, given two points)
student evaluations are always very mercurial. if they ace the class, they happy. if they are doing poorly, they'll blame the instructor. so i dont take too much stock in the comments.

i honestly try to be approachable and friendly. but if they find me intimidating, there's not much i can do.
but this isn't a bad thing. sometimes being scared shitless is a good motivation to learn. Joseph Epstein had a good piece on this.
