Germany's far right (by German standads) AfD party is polling around 23%, but they will never get actual power as long as the center-right CDU/CSU party sticks by its pledge never to enter into a coalition with the AfD. They ruined their chances of the CDU/CSU changing that position by holding a secret meeting planning mass deportations:

The domestic debate about what to do about the AfD has grown all the more intense since a report earlier this month revealed that members of party were present at a secret meeting of right-wing extremists in a hotel near the city of Potsdam in which a “master plan” to deport foreigners and “unassimilated citizens” en masse was discussed. Many in Germany drew parallels to similar plans made by the Nazis.
That revelation prompted huge protests in Germany against right-wing radicalism and the AfD in recent days. Last weekend alone, hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets in cities across Germany. In Berlin, demonstrators assembled in front of the Bundestag and chanted: “All of Berlin hates the AfD!”

It would have been very feasible if the AfD had made efforts to make itself more publicly presentable.
Why? Because politicians like power and the CDU/CSU along with the FDP could easily get the 50% needed to gain power along with the AfD. They could have justified it by saying "well, if 23% of Germans support them we can't ostracise them anymore."
This deportation conference was the height of futile stupidity because they don't have the power to make it a reality and it was just a far-right circle-jerk. The actual Nazis were smart enough to polish up their act when they needed to in order to gain power. Then they showed their true colors once they had that power.

To be fair,
CR, the AfD just needs to shamelessly sell out its populist base and cuck as hard as possible and then it will all work out for them.
Glad to see we agree on this, (((Jewish Pumo)))! ;)
