I'm so used to treating women in a paternalistic or flirtatious manner I don't think I'd be able to act seriously around her. Acting in deference to a woman is extremely strange and uncomfortable for me, and it's very strange and uncomfortable for women to have a man act like that too
I can't help but think that the proper way to act around these women is just the same way that you act around every other woman. And she will let you off without any punishment as long as you're reasonably charming and white and not short or ugly |

Ich habe zwei Kinder.
Ich spiele mit zwei Kindern.

Date: March 18th, 2024 11:04 PM Author: umber crusty organic girlfriend I am French (Huguenot son of a watchmaker) and I can honestly affirm that German is much harder to learn. Spanish is about as hard to learn as tying your shoe and anyone can become fluent in about 5 days in a Spanish country.
Some day I will move to Zürich and figure it out. I just haven't been around German enough. Maybe I will go to the Schwarzwald and finally pick it up. |

Freiburg in the Schwarzwald is one of my favorite German cities- sunniest city in Germany which is nice. |

This Bavarian girl applying to be a policewoman is a high school junior in the Gymnasium - the "smart kids" high school in Germany. The announcer says only 1 in 6 applicants are accepted to the police academy.
So being a policeman is way more prestigious in Germany than in the US. Same for high school teacher.
