Remember that Trump announced the raid, not DOJ. It actually took the government 48 hours to confirm what Trump was saying. So for 48 hours you had Trump making unverified claims. Nonetheless, during that same 48 hour period, Norm Eisen was all over the internet talking about how hyper-legit the search warrant was. How tf does anyone know what's in a search warrant for a search the government has not admitted it even conducted?
Ever since then I've noticed that Norm is ALWAYS first to the punch with any sort of legal analysis whenever something goes screwy. Some shit happens at 9pm and Norm has an op-ed in the Washington Post at 6am. This is just example #977468525 of Norm doing this. |
