Xers had like 1989 - 1994, and threw off the boomer cultural mantle with the slacker / lollapalooza / grunge thing, crafted an identifiable aesthetic out of nothing and basically DIYed. During those years it finally became embarrassing to be a boomer.
Granted, it amounted to nothing, but it happened and you can still look at it.
Millennials had like 2004-2016 and produced internet memes and shitlibbery. Most iconic millennials are probably Zuckerman, AOC, and Taylor Swift.
Xers deserved to be SKEWERED, but not by millennials. |
