We talked for an hour and he wants me to apply. Starting salary is $100k with great benefits. The problem is I don't want to make $100k, I want to make $430k. We discovered that we live about 6 blocks from each other and exchanged numbers. Super cool guy & *extremely* experienced. I'd want to work for him to become a better lawyer.
The problem for me is that I'm an expert programmer, literally top 0.01%. I have contributions to the linux kernel under a former moniker, and I'm currently in charge of a new product line that I developed. I'm literally making my company around $1M/yr.
Nevertheless, I'm not an expert lawyer. I'm good enough in that I've gotten my clients better deals than they could've gotten cheaper elsewhere |
