That means the Pentagon can afford to deplete our current stocks more with deliveries to Ukraine, secure in the knowledge that replacements will be readily available.
Europe is ramping way up as well, and the Czech and Estonian initiatives reportedly have found 2 million currently existing shells around the world which can fill the gap. As long as money to pay for them can be found, and the supplemental will help with that.
