Your goals should be things like:
1. Living a fulfilling and meaningful life.
2. Finding the right woman to marry, marrying her, and forming a family with children.
3. Working at things that you like and that you think make a difference.
4. Forming relationships with your family and friend.
5. Building sufficient wealth to provide for your security.
Retirement by itself is not a goal worth having. Oh you quit working? How fascinating. Retirement can be seen as a phase that huddles up at the terminus of your life but that doesn't mean that Retirement is a goal worth having. I'd rather die in my sleep quite frankly.
