The alleged cover-up of payments didn't impact the 2016 election. Had Trump recorded the payment as a campaign contribution it would have been reported after the election.
DA keeps arguing that he swung an election through this "cover-up" but the argument makes no sense because of the timing.

there was an argument that the "truth social" juror was a shitlib in drag (something you're familiar with)
it's a state case so would the U.S. supreme court even consider it? the state supreme court is pretty shitlib afaik
anyway it might be irrelevant, orange retard cucked on the $90 billion "foreign aid" bill so globohomo might deem him skinsuited enough (after the COVID fraud too) to be put back in the seat

scotus wouldn't consider, i was talking state supreme. despite how shitlib it may be there is still a limit. look at how only colorado bought the retarded insurrection = djt is disqualified argument. that was presented to many states. look at how many scotus opinions are 9-0 on political issues. not every shitlib is completely untethered.
trump is 10000x better than biden simply because of who he will be appointing to actually run the government and judicial appointments. but yeah, the people who lived through his first term that think he'll be any different are delusional.
lynn is probably one of the biggest reptiles here.

§175.10 says "intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof." so if influencing elections with a catch and kill scheme is illegal, then falsifying business records to conceal the crime after the fact would be illegal.
of course, influencing an election through a catch-and-kill scheme is not illegal. and even if it was, if you think trump was in the weeds on how a couple hundred grand was recorded in january 2017 you're fucking bonkers.
even if these records were falsified (they weren't), and even if a catch-and-kill scheme to influence an election is illegal (it's not), and even if these records were falsified specifically to conceal that illegal activity (they weren't), there's no way the fucking trump was aware of how they were being recorded when he was about to be inaugurated.

Despite the taped conversation, on August 23, in a Fox News interview Trump stated that he was not aware of the hush-money payments until "later on": "Later on I knew. Later on. What he did—and they weren't taken out of the campaign finance, that's the big thing." He added: "In fact, my first question when I heard about it was, did they come out of the campaign, because that could be a little dicey. And they didn't come out of the campaign and that's big. But they weren't ... that's not even a campaign violation."[89] According to U.S. election rules, any payments intended to influence an election vote must be reported, and the payments have questions about campaign-finance ethics.[77][85]
why the fuck would trump admit on tape that he was happy that they were not taken out of campaign finance if he took it out of trump funds specifically to hide it?!
also, why the fuck would it have even mattered? if trump transferred his money to his campaign fund it would have been recorded the same way. they're quibbling over whether "legal services" was falsifying? paying for NDAs to avoid disclosing legal conduct is legal!!! what, trump had to write STORMY DANIELS HUSH MONEY on his campaign spending report? give me a fucking break. it would have been reported as "legal services" regardless. and, again, TRUMP ISN'T FUCKING DIRECTING HOW HIS ACCOUNTING IS DONE!!!
