If these boycotts really take off, seems like the handful of legit conservative schools (george mason, notre dame) will be the beneficiaries, along with maybe those with enough perceived ideological diversity to consistently avoid making these lists (chicago). If I'm a conservative kid coming into LS now and watching this, on the one hand I doubt I'm going to a T50 if I could otherwise go to HLS, but I also doubt I'm distinguishing between stanford/columbia (which have active boycotts against them) and boalt/nyu (which don't, as far as I know, but which easily could/will).
Would be interesting to start to see some political polarization in law school matriculation. Not saying it will happen, but it's a possible development.
EDIT: Bear in mind the whole point/effect of these boycotts is to punish *conservative* students at lib schools. These judges were never hiring buckwild brown protestor types in the first place. The message is to conservative kids: don't go to columbia.

these legal scholars have the utmost respect for the first amendment.
it's also important that they take this stand because clearly 100% of the CLS student body was involved in the protests, every single one of them so it's not like this is guilt by association. regardless, it's not like they are paid by the government or anything so think-discrimination is perfectly fine!
