It's a flawed premise.
Tom Selleck is the better leading man. I think most people think he actually would've been a good Indiana Jones. He was good in a bunch of other movies.
Jeff Bridges is the better actor. He has 5 Oscars and 1 win. He's also probably more capable of sliding into Selleck's roles than Selleck is vice versa. But with that said, Selleck is still the better choice for a show like Blue Bloods.
