one day i started making a ton of threads with racist jokes, mostly about black people.

he sent me a pm that said something like "hey man, i think the nigger jokes are really fucking funny but you gotta stop. people are bumming out."

so i started a thread entitled "look at what albini just sent me" and the body of the thread was a c+p of his pm. i got IP banned within like 5 minutes.

my friend did shows back then (we lived in bowie, which is next to crofton). he booked hatebreed when they were pretty small still. we'd seen jasta 14, the singer's first band, in CT in 1994 at some fest at the tune inn in new haven.

anyway, my close hs friend (who later sang for 86 mentality) slipped while he was dancing and cracked his head open. show stopped and the lights came on. someone ran and called the cops (luckily the fire dept was next door). during this down time in the show, this MASSIVE skinhead was talking to his buddy like he'd knocked my friend down. it later turned out to be a misunderstanding, but i ran up to the guy running my mouth. he charged at me and a huge fight broke out between bowie hardcore kids and baltimore skinheads, and we had some big doods who fucked up a few skins real good. anyway, during the melee, a friend of mine stuck mace in my hand. the huge skin charged at me and i unloaded the mace. it was that foamy shit and it went all over the place, and it hit a few guys in hatebreed.

luckily the cops came because some of the skins were going to their cars for guns. i had to have my ex gf smooth shit over and i didn't go to shows for a bit. eventually everything was fine. my friend whose head was cracked open was a skin and cool with all those guys, so when they found out why i did what i did, they said they would have done the same thing.

this sXe band from NJ called resurrection played. totally out of place. some other hc bands played too.

here's another funny story about that firehall. there's this band called 25 ta life. they are hilariously bad. their singer is this guy called rick ta life with dreads and tattoos on his face, etc. they are awful. they had one song that was kinda big in the scene, called "keepin it real." anyway, my friend booked them to play a show at the firehall, and they played that fucking song like 4 times lmao. dude kept asking "yo, yall niggas [yes, he is white] wanna hear keepin it real again, son?"

they had a new bass player in the band. after the show finished, we were all sitting around talking and shooting the shit. venue was empty except for us, lights were on, etc. the bassist was imitating rick ta life "yo, you wanna hear fuckin keepin it real again dogg? hahahahh" and everyone was yukking it up. rick pops from out of somewhere and goes "yo, nigga. you a comedian? you're fired bitch. find your own way back to NYC". and sure enough the band left his ass there lol.

that ex gf who ended up smoothing stuff over with the skins later dated rick. she was a band slut.
