Lots of legitimate improvements in medical tech in the last 25 years -- to say nothing of just how much "high speed internet to our phones" has FUNDAMENTALLY changed the level of decadent creature comforts that even poor retards can now enjoy. In 2000, you had to leave your house and drive to a restaurant or grocery store or a restaurant if you wanted to eat something; now retarded brown people will bring you food or groceries with a click of a button no matter how shitty the weather is outside and it will be there within an hour. In 2000, you had to leave your house and drive to a movie theater and sit next to obnoxious faggots to watch a movie, and you were limited to a small slate of available options that Hollywood pre-selected for you. Or you could stay home and hope something good just happened to be on TV (good luck). Now you have literally unlimited access to pretty much every film and show ever created in the last 100 years from your couch with a few clicks of a button. Those are just two of many such examples. FSD is another obvious example -- it's extremely easy to shit on Tesla or whatever and pretend that it's all a scam, but it's not. FSD is already better and safer than the average human driver in at least 99.9%+ of use cases, and although that final .1% is the toughest to crack, the gap is closing fast at this point. Are we going to pretend that living in a world with legitimate self-driving cars is not a huge tech and quality of life change from 2000?
