Michael Mann is 82 and thus is not really involved in this project, just licensing his name.
I can see this being pretty awful. Starting with War Dogs and Pain and Gain, and reaching a peak with Top Gun and F1, a lot of modern dramas have a commercial like quality to them, as if they were filmed in one sequence. No particular scene is deep and most of the film is set to a high octane soundtrack. Its to stave off boredom because the public doesn't have patience for long dull dialog scenes like in the old days. So yeah, bad.
