I don’t really have any “nice” guitars but my favorite is a custom warmoth tele with the smoothest neck I’ve ever felt. Got it on reverb for $600 from the dude who built it. Will never sell it

180. I’m with you that nice doesn’t always mean expensive. One of my nicest basses cost $200 on fb marketplace.

Fender USA Custom Telecaster, creme pickguard black body

Fender USA Custom Strat, Texas special pickups

Charvel HSS Pro-Mod San Dimas

LTD TH-1000 with mortal coil pickups (sound insane)

Gibson LP Standard in heritage cherry sunburst (my least favorite electric, tuning stability blows and sounds inferior to others unless you need THAT sound)

Gibson J-185 acoustic. The exact guitar Dashboard Confessional made famous on MTV Unplugged. Sounds exactly how an acoustic should sound imo. Adore this one.

I have a rare Gibson hummingbird that is my favorite acoustic. And one other decent Taylor acoustic I play more regularly and am less worried my kids will fuck up.

I also have a John Mayer strat and a Les Paul.

Think im at 13 guitars now. Lets see

1. Cherry burst Les Paul R8 custom shop

1. Black besuty 1957 reissue vos les paul custom shop (my latest, its amazing, fake aged yellow binding)

3. Ernie Ball music man axis sport

4. 1951 reissue fender telecaster

5. EVH frankenstein striped

6. Partscaster i had a local lutheir make. Basically a heavy reliced black strat with white pickgaurd but with a modern roasted maple 70s neck and Lindy fralin pickups

Honorable mentions: my Les Paul standard, Les Paul double cutaway, American performer Stratocaster, and USA Gibson sg 1961 reissue

Really wonderful collection. Kind of bummed the Ibanez bass didn’t crack your top 10 guitars. I bet that tele is sweet and would love to see pics of your guitars.

The new black beauty is pure sex

It was at my local guitar center for months. I went every other week to play it in the nice guitars room. Recently came with a trade in and they came down a bit to where I could get it. I swear it sounded better than all of thr other Les Paul custom shop and $10k Murphy labs that they had, I compared it to probably 10 others. The 1957 reissue is the only model that I know of that is one solid block of mahogany and no top, which affects the tone IMO

Didn’t pay anything close to that by the way.

The coolest part is the aged yellow binding. It’s incredible

Made this thread because I now have 6 bass guitars which is really just ridiculous. Need to sell at least 3.

1. peavey cirrus

2. Spector euro Doug wimbish edition

3. Fender contemporary precision bass lyte

4. Peavey foundation

5. Peavey dynabass (this could be the #1 if I replaced the pickups and preamp)

6. Fender American performer mustang (beautiful bass but I’m just not a short scale guy)
