it depends on how strict their underwriting process is, but this isnt something you want to fuck around with. i had a friend who bought a pair of lifts a decade after getting the loan, which triggered an audit, and when his fraud was discovered they retroactively applied the height adjusted rate, compounded it, added penalties, investigation costs... he wound up having to short sell it and the bank came after him for the deficiency. he lost everything.

i’ve been buying clothes from the big and tall store (and donating them to charity) over the last year to set up a clean audit trail. all of my actual clothes and shoes are paid for in cash. i can’t pay cash for my tinder platinum subscription though. how likely is that to set off alarm bells?
with big data and AI its impossible brother. you're thinking of surefire gotchas like the tinder platinum sub. that means you're already fucked, but you still would be even without that. so much shit correlates with height that even without a red flag, with enough data it becomes obvious. making 80k a year, never eating at exclusive restaurants Tall men prefer... hell, even paying for your own meals ever. think about tsinahs cc statement and how accurate of a guess you could make about him. now think about a black box algo doing it.
it's just 50bps brother. i know it seems unfair, but surely you're used to that reality by now. stop fighting it.
