Kind of figured they would grow to like the current situation. I fully expect that the US will tell them that, if they want to keep the Strait closed down, they will do so without power plants and without any oil exports of their own.
I expect they will come around eventually if we do that. |

The conventional wisdom was that political pressure from China and the Gulf countries would prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz. Not only did that not happen, but Iran has discovered the huge leverage that it has by doing so.
The only way to - possibly - combat that is by making it too painful for them to make this the new normal. |
