I watch jeopardy every day and get most questions right, even faster than the contestants. But the faggy "art" categories stump me. I don't know who "Keats" is. I never learned this in school or college. How are they so well-rounded? How do I brute force this so I can go on the show and wreck shop?

Who honestly gives a fuck about this shit. It does not improve your life unless you're a turbo-autist and need more shit to spin on.

I think a lot of them now just memorize books of trivia instead of it coming from being educated and well read

Yeah I looked into going on the show and the winners talked about how there are discord servers where they have flash cards with like every jeopardy question ever and they superstudy grind at it. It made me sick. The show needs to counter this somehow

Henrik Ibsen is the answer to like 30% of the playwright questions I see on Jeopardy. These nerds just memorize a dozen or so playwrights, poets, and some of their famous works.

years ago from actually reading the poetry, watching the plays, or visiting the city, whatever

now its from googling stuff. thats why trivia knowledge is so unimpressive today.
