Capping them at 280W leaves enough headroom on 1000W PSU, whereas unlimited power draw probably requires a 1500W PSU to ensure stability. It will run a Proxmox server with an old Intel 12600 (non-k, yeah I got one of those) and 32gb of DDR4. |
