$400K in tuition to work for 3 years
~~~
Since 20XX I have done what made sense on paper. JD-MBA from [T14], [advisory], the whole thing. And somewhere along the way I realized the last time I genuinely loved what I was doing every day was when I was teaching preschool. Helping four year olds manifest their imaginations on paper, covered in glitter, and just enjoying the creative process.
So I decided to stop being sensible and reasonable and just do what I loved. Maybe that would yield better results!
I wanted to build a creative space for adults that doesn't feel like a kindergarten classroom or a corporate team building exercise. Somewhere you'd actually want to take a date. Somewhere you can decompress after work without someone telling you what to draw.
[] is a studio in Denver where instead of ordering food, you order art experiences. You sit down, browse the menu, pick your medium, and make something. No instruction, no judgment, no pressure to produce anything worth framing.
Six months ago this was a dream I kept talking myself out of. On April 30th, we open for business. I'm still a little shocked.
If you're in Denver, come by. I'd love to see you there!
