Traveling, carrying, double-dribbling are almost never called, which makes the league a joke. Virtually every team has the same offensive strategy: shoot 50+ threes or just run toward the rim expecting a defensive foul for the lightest graze. Defense isn't allowed.
The reigning champions (OKC) are SPS and unwatchable. Their gay bottom superstar SGA just foul baits and flops as much as possible. Their actual defensive fouls go uncalled.
I tried watching the playoffs last year but couldn't handle more than like four or five games. The regular season seems unimaginably terrible.
Also, gambling. The NBA and all the other professional leagues have huge deals with sports gambling companies that get you addicted to gambling and make you lose all your money. It's all about money and has been for a long time. At least stars from decades ago were driven by a lot more than just money. |
