as it stands right now this wouldnt be a legitimate call from "my country", not when the majority of people oppose it. i would consider serving if public opinion favored the war. i do think you have a duty to serve your country regardless of your personal opinion. however, in this case the war is so unjustifiable and for another country's benefit that my conscious would still tell me to flee. id feel duty bound to renounce my citizenship in that case, however.

BAM, u take the extra step of renouncing ur citizenship to "tie up loose ends" and get hauled away from ur consular interview in chains and dumped on kharg island.
