why do people think logic games is so improvable?

its not like theres a linear algebra section on the lsat. i can see why studying would make a big difference there, but logic games are pretty intuitive. |

Date: March 8th, 2012 11:38 PM Author: Orange supple messiness i had very little experience with it the first time i'd ever seen it and i have a reasonably strong math background. my scores on games the first few times i tried them were abysmal. after practice and seeing some hints and techniques for attacking them, my scores were nearly perfect.
i think the real problem is that games require a minimal level of reading comprehension and mapping the ideas to symbols, then manipulating those symbols. this is different from writing essays or doing word problems in math. i guess it's closest to writing mathematical proofs but requires lower level but quicker logical reasoning. |
