dissolving bodies in sulfuric acid. much easier than dumping them from a boat 30 miles from shore.

or just put them in a nylon bag and weigh it down. but sulphuric acid is so much cooler! I saw it on breaking bad!

the nice part is any extra sulphuric acid they don’t use for dissolving bodies can be used for saltwater desalination since the island doesn’t have a clean water source

So I looked into how sulfuric acid is used in desalination technology, since that's the excuse that's been offered. Two scenarios:
1. descaling intake systems: ok, I can see it being useful there BUT 300 gallons is a lot for that kind of application. Seems like you'd have to be doing this on an industrial scale for it to make sense, otherwise use a safer chemical. The only advantage to sulfuric acid is potency, otherwise it's a yuge hazard to work with.
2. lowing the pH of the water: ok, but again, if I'm only supplying water to my mansion and using it to fill the swimming pool, the only advantage of sulfuric acid is potency. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggesting using something ELSE to treat your, uhh... jacuzzi water. And again, 300 gallons is a lot. I mean, you're just trying to lower the pH?
