Highly cr highlights list. How much time do you spend in London?
A few other great sites and activities for a first time tourist:
Greenwich and the museums there
Kew Gardens if you're into gardens
Riding around central London on the top of a double decker bus
Sky Garden
Thames cruise,

"Real Ale" from a cask is 1800000. I wish I were drinking some right now. Almost all pubs will have it. Order from the taps that look like this https://s.wsj.net/public/resources/images/BN-KF482_caskal_M_20150909141925.jpg
Fish and chips from a good, family owned fish place are great. But most fish and chips you'll find are just ok and no better than what you'll get in the US.
A poster above gave a list of sites in London that are highly cr.
In addition to those sites in London, take a couple day trips outside of London if you have time. Oxford is less than an hour away. Canterbury is 90 minutes.
Have fun. Post some pictures for your xo friends.

what is british culture?
i'll tell ya
it's the housing market, abandoned coastal towns, closed-down high streets, ethnic replacement, the exodus to London, smoking roll-ups at your min. wage job, the decline of marriage, social media, student debt, anal sex, industrial estates, living at home, NEETs, Deanos, Barratt Homes, post-industrial landscapes, cornershops, Muslim grooming gangs, retired boomers, pub lunches, casual flings with your depressed call-centre colleague, waiting in the rain for the bus home, cracked concrete slabs, the lads from school, porn addiction, autism, Job Centre Plus, self-checkout, working class resentment, the upper class private school / Oxbridge bubble, "large chips please", globohomo architecture, helping your Mum apply for jobs with the NHS, vague unease about the future, juice bars, diversity murals, depressed teachers, Tinder dates, tea with your Nan, unmarried career women, high rents, bedroom shut-ins, i could go on

Go see some cricket at Lord's (one of the great traditional grounds) if you can find a game that isn't some important international game (they will be expensive and sold out) - e.g. if you're there on July 14, this game between an English club and a couple of touring Australian clubs is only 5 pounds for general entry
https://tickets.lords.org/en-GB/events/middlesex%20v%20scg%20xi%20-%20mcc%20v%20scg%20xi/2026-7-14_11.00/lord's%20cricket%20ground?hallmap
. You may not understand the game, but (1) you should, because it's a great game, and (2) even if you don't, the atmosphere will be awesome and completely authentic. Even Orwell wrote about the village cricket green being the heart of real England.
Also, go a couple of hours up the road to Oxford or Cambridge or both (separate days, they're in different directions).
